Are we eligible for recycled furniture?
Yes. If you are a not-for-profit organisation or a registered charity then Green Furniture Aid will, depending upon availability, furnish your office with furniture at no cost.
We would like to donate to Green Furniture Aid. What do we have to do?
We welcome all donations of office furniture and are able to clear offices seating anything from 5 to 5000 staff.
Is there a cost involved for this service?
This would depend upon the size of the actual clearance and the quality of the equipment involved. As a charity we have limited funds available. We are however almost always more cost effective than removal companies and a far less expensive, and more environmentally responsible, alternative to landfill.
Will Green Furniture Aid deliver the equipment and install it free of charge?
No. Due to the associated costs involved we are unable to deliver or install office furniture or office equipment. However you are welcome to collect from one of our warehouses or we can recommend a reputable installation company who will take care of the delivery and installation for you.
I am a landlord. What benefits would I receive if I decided to help Green Furniture Aid?
We are constantly in need of short term storage space within the range of 20000 to 1000000 square feet. We require huge amounts of space to allow for the storage and redistribution of furniture on a regular basis. In return for allowing our charity the use of your empty building we can save you, depending upon the size of the building in question, anything up to one million pounds per annum. We are based outside the UK. Can we still receive donated furniture?
Yes you can. Wherever possible Green Furniture Aid work with other charities that help us to send surplus office furniture to organisations all over the world who, due to circumstances beyond their control, do not have the ability to purchase their own.
I run a small business. Is my business eligible for free furniture?
Unfortunately not. We are only able to provide free recycled furniture to other charities and not-for-profit organisations. However, we can recommend discount furniture retailers that would be able to supply your business with either new or used office furniture if you contact us.
